Breaking 3 PB's in one session

After 3 long months of planning and prepping we finally hit the road towards White river  put side Nelspruit to one of SA's top fishing destinations.

Despite the 10 hour drive on our first day we managed to setup our camp and before dark we dropped the first few rods. We all had a good nights rest and early on our first morning Brandon jad a screamer on his far rod , sadly due to old braid in the water the strong fish managed to get away. We we're very confident in our spots and bait of choice to get a run so fast at this venue.

Well we waited 3 days before we had another run. Late on our 4th day we had some bad weather moving in with strong winds, hiding away in our tent we heard a alarm go of and Dylan was in, landing the 1st carp on our session. This was definitely not what we came for , weighing in on 12kg.

The following day was more promising and we landed 3 carp between 14 and 17 kilogram. We were absolutely buzzing and new that the long drive was werth it!

The following 2 days went slow. 

On night 6 we all went to bed to have a nice sleep, as we all know klip kopje dam does not produce at night time. But that bight I heard a alarm and at first I thought I'm dreaming. But indeed it was a alarm going of, a few minutes later brandon managed to land a stunning 16 kg carp.

Our last few days we made some changes to get the bigger carp and we noticed allot of fish jumping in a shallow bay to the right of us in front of swim 21. We set out a few traps and that morning Stephan was blessed with a stunning carp of 24.5 kg!! We quickly  dropped the line again and the next morning the same rod went and Dylan had his fish just short of 19 kg.

We all were satisfied and head back to bloemfontein.

In all our flavored tigernuts worked wonders at KK with our monster mix and amino dips!
